Keysight – CES2023

In preparation for CES 2023, Keysight Technologies reached out to us with a challenging task to demonstrate how the Digital Twin solution enables development and testing of Autonomous Vehicles.

Our approach was to create a narrative that guides the viewer through multiple driving scenarios in order to help better understand the complexity and unlimited multitude of repeatable tests striving to develop a safer and more efficient Autonomous Vehicle.

Our task was robust and had to be executed with extreme precision. We needed to provide over 10 min of full CGI content featuring very specific scenarios, depicted from two different points of views that would need to play in sync on two separate screens with different dimensions.

We  developed a custom rig that would allow us to easily art direct  scenes. Within a few clicks of a button we could change a freeway into a city block, turn trees into city lights and switch rolling hills into tall skyscrapers. Moreover, the landscape, road, vehicles, people and all other variables seen in the scenes were generated procedurally so there was no need for us to manually place thousands of assets in each and every scene and then worry about animating them.
